Indiana Family to Family
Indiana Family to Family provides information, training, and one-on-one support to Indiana families of children and youth with additional health and education needs, and the professionals who serve them. We aim to provide families with tools to make informed decisions, advocate for improved systems and policies, and build partnerships between professionals and families. We are Indiana’s Parent to Parent organization and an Alliance member of Parent to Parent USA; the state affiliate organization for Family Voices; and we serve as Indiana’s Family-to-Family Health Information Center.

Through the power of lived and shared experience, we support families raising children or youth who require additional health or educational assistance by providing answers, resources, practical training, and vital community connections and by advising the professionals who serve them. |

Indiana Family-to-Family Health Information Center
Indiana Family to Family is Indiana's Family-to-Family Health Information Center (F2F HIC). F2F HICs are family-staffed organizations that assist families of children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) and the professionals who serve them. Because we are staffed by family members who have first-hand experience navigating the maze of health care and education services and programs for CYSHCN, we are positioned to uniquely help families by providing:
• Assistance to families and professionals navigating health care systems
• Information, education, training, support, and referral services
• Outreach to underserved and underrepresented populations
• Guidance on health programs and policy
• Collaboration with other F2F HICs, family groups, and professionals to improve services for CYSHCN
• Evaluation and outcome assessment
• Assistance to families and professionals navigating health care systems

Indiana Family to Family Funding
Indiana Family to Family is supported by grant and donor funding. This allows us to provide services to families and professionals free of charge. F2F HIC funding is provided by the US Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration, Maternal and Child Health Bureau, Division of Services for Children with Special Health Needs. National Affiliations
Family Voices is a national family-led organization of families and friends of children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) and disabilities. We connect a network of family organizations across the United States that provide support to families of CYSHCN. We promote partnership with families at all levels of health care–individual and policy decision-making levels--in order to improve health care services and policies for children.

The National Federation of Families is a national family-run organization linking more than 120 state and local affiliates and national partners focused on the issues of children and youth with emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs and substance use challenges and their families. Members of the National Federation come from all walks of life. Emotional, behavioral or mental health needs and substance use challenges cut across all income, educational, geographical, racial, ethnic, and religious groups. They are found among all families - single and two-parent households, birth, adoptive, kinship and foster.

Parent to Parent USA supports a network of viable, sustainable, fully-functioning and effective Parent to Parent programs in all 50 states through hands-on support, training and technical assistance, and high quality tools and resources. Our network’s parent leadership and engaged membership will serve as strong advocates, provide robust mentoring opportunities, and develop the working partnerships with funders, service providers, and others needed to sustain and grow the program nationwide.
