Diana AutinSPAN Parent Advocacy Network
Diana MTK Autin, JD, is the Senior Director for Organizational Capacity-Building Programs of the SPAN Parent Advocacy Network in Newark, NJ, which has operated the state's Family-to-Family Health Information Center for 16 years. She is also the Co-Director of the Family Engagement and Leadership in Systems of Care project at Family Voices. With nearly 20 years of experience, she provides technical assistance to parent centers in Region A of the US and has supported various family-led organizations on issues like family engagement and youth leadership. Autin has served as a consultant for several national initiatives, authored guides for family advocacy, and received multiple awards for her contributions to health equity and family services. She is a board member of the National Federation of Families and has a BA with Honors and a JD from the University of Michigan. Autin is of Cajun and Native American descent and is a mother of four adult children from diverse backgrounds.
