Christine Hennessy, Director of Training and Special Initiatives
Christine Hennessy is the Director of Training and Special Initiatives. Christine’s tenure with INF2F has afforded her the privilege and opportunity to represent the family perspective and the parent experience on numerous work groups, coalitions and grant-funded research projects aimed at informing program initiation and development, professional training and overall quality improvement for clinical and non-clinical systems of care. She also sits on committees concentrated on policy change, advocacy, and overall improvement in the lives of Indiana families. Christine oversees training, communication and project work as well as information and resource development and dissemination.
Prior to her work with INF2F, Christine spent 15+ years serving children, youth, and adults within the Indiana Medicaid Waiver Program. Early years were spent delivering direct care and support to adults with disabilities in a day program setting. This planted a desire to become more engaged in person-centered planning and advocacy which led to several years providing case management services and as a Director for one of Indiana’s case management providers.
Christine resides in Johnson County with her husband, two sons and two dogs. Free time is spent gardening, playing soccer, watching her kids grow in their varying activities, and seeking new opportunities for creative expression.
