FAMILY INVOLVEMENT FUND Guidelines, Requirements, and Limitations • Please submit your application at least 30 days prior to the date of the event. • If your application is determined to be outside the use of this fund, you will receive a letter of explanation. Attending a Conference Parents who are requested to participate in formal regional (cluster) LPCC activities may receive a daily stipend on the following basis:
All necessary forms are available from the First Steps Cluster or LPCC Chairperson. •The FIF does not reimburse for the purchase of instructional media, the purchase of developmental toys, materials, equipment, etc. for specific use by a child or family • Families are asked to first contact our library, the Center for Disability Information & Referral (CeDIR), to determine if the needed materials are available for checkout. • If materials are not available from CeDIR and the cost of purchase is under $100.00 (and meets the criteria for purchase) the amount requested may be reimbursed. You will receive a letter stating whether your request is approved for reimbursement. • If materials are not available from CeDIR and the cost of purchase is over $100.00 (and meets the criteria for purchase), CeDIR may purchase these materials and make them available to you on a checkout basis (for up to 3 months, with a 3-time renewal option). After that, materials should be returned to the CeDIR collection.
